It is vital to be fully aware of the process that is involved in looking for a job. It will require you to be diligent and stay focused. There are many misconceptions about certain points in job hunting that can really break your chances of getting hired. We’ll take a look at a few of them here. A lot of job seekers think that, a cover letter is not that important. You are so wrong. The purpose of the cover letter is to inform the employer about your specific qualifications for the position being applied for. The cover letter is the letter of introduction. That simply means that if the cover letter is ommited, the resume is INCOMPLETE. That’ll spell TRASH BIN to your resume. Searching for a job, fresh from college, is easy. Most fresh graduates land a job or two without even knowing if the job that they got is really the job that they want. This is true, because, it is not an easy thing to identify the right job for you when you’re still just starting out. The process takes time. It will need you to reflect more on the true interests and hobbies within your self. An indicator of these things are skills and qualifications.
A Resume that is well designed is better… NOT! Keeping a simple yet informative resume will land you the job. Flashy and overly decorated resumes do you no good. It might even be mistaken for a virus if you send the ‘thingy’ through email. A resume must have a professional look. And you must keep several copies of it so you can be ready to give out a copy when the need arises.

There are lots of different website you can use in finding a job. Like Jobsdb the jobsite that is know in Asia because this site has a wide range of companies where in you can apply. JOBSDB also organized job fair that will allow job seeker to apply onsite to different companies, Jobstreet is also one jobsite that is known in the Philippines thru Jobstreet you can apply by submitting or posting your resume online or by searching job vacancies from partner companies by click apply button, I will also refer you to JOBSDB.com because even though its based in the Philippines the system they use originated in Australia it is the candidates behavioral report because by just answering a set of question the system can asses the personality you have that will help the manager or the HR to decide if they will hire you.

When starting on a job, keep in mind that you are being watched by prying eyes. Learn to act properly to win the hearts of your employer and coworkers.
Here are some tips to help you cope during your first few weeks in the job:
1. Evaluate your routine and work habits. As we work in different companies and organizations through the years, we develop a certain routine or work habits that we usually bring with us when we switch to a different job. Check your routine and work habits and remove those that encourage tardiness and poor performance.
2. Be aware of your surroundings. This is done through observation and social interaction. Things that you should be aware of include office etiquette, management system, social practices within the office, etc.
3. Know your coworkers. This is very important when starting a job as they are the people whom you will work with and see every single day at work.

Say you have hit the jackpot of getting hired, the next thing to prepare for is the adjustment period in your new environment that is the work place. Generally, the first month in your job is the time when your employer and coworkers form their opinions of you.
If you show unpleasant behavior, your officemates will brand you negatively. If you perform poorly, this will surely earn you the reputation of a slacker.
On the other hand, if you will go the extra mile and reach out to them in a nice manner, they will certainly be friendly towards you. Also, if you will work hard and do your job properly, it is highly possible that they will overlook your poor performance later on.

But now, many companies that offer jobs online are mushrooming because of the opportunity given by internet. It can bridge the gaps wherever you are in the world. It is very accessible because there are also many internet providers to choose from, aside from that, there are also WI-FI spots where you can access the internet using software in your computer to detect radioactive waves.
Online jobs are one of the good advantages given by the net because it provides a home based workplace or an environment where it is comfortable and at ease to work at. It also provides a chance for a person to use the skill that he or she has in the work. Above all, with the lesser supervision by a big boss or authority, the person can show his or her own personality without being intimidated by another person who is considered as the boss of the company.
